Our client is a leading gold company with world class assets producing gold, copper, silver, zinc, and lead both within Australia and internationally.
The company is seeking a motivated Senior Project Engineer (Electrical) to join their engineering team in their Perth office.
The primary focus on the role is to support and work closely with Study Managers by providing electrical expertise on various design projects.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide project engineering leadership
- Monitor project engineering progress and facilitate meetings
- Provide and coordinate expert technical reviews
- Be accountable for all electrical engineering for studies and projects
- Develop technical documentation.
To be successful we require demonstrated experience in a similar or capital works environment which will include project engineering on large scale complex projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as knowledge of applicable statutory regulations. Proven experience in managing EPC, EPCM or ECI consultants or contractor will be well regarded.
This is a fixed term one year contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. It operates on a 5/2 Perth based roster and offers excellent remuneration.
