MPI are currently seeking applications from experienced Underground Heavy Diesel Fitters to join a principal gold miner in the Goldfields for an ongoing role.

Scope of work:
This role will be based primarily in the workshop, but breakdown retrievals will be required. Daily you will be required to complete servicing, preventative maintenance, breakdowns and diagnostic to identify faults on all underground machinery. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for all maintenance requirements to the fleet.

To be considered you will require:

Hold a relevant Australian recognised 'Heavy Diesel' trade certificate
Hold a current driver's licence
Hold a current National Police clearance
Be able to pass a pre employment medical & drug and alcohol screening
Experience with underground Sandvik, Epiroc, Normet and CAT machinery is highly advantageous.

Unfortunately, we are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia.
