MPI are currently seeking applications from experienced Underground Heavy Diesel Fitters, Leading Hand's, and Drill Fitters for a position located in the Goldfields. This role is located just outside of Kalgoorlie and currently has a 2-year duration with the opportunity for it to extend.

Job description:
This role will be based primarily in the workshop carrying out servicing, preventative maintenance, breakdown maintenance and diagnostic to identify faults on all underground heavy machinery. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for all maintenance requirements to the fleet.

To be considered you will require:

Hold a relevant Australian recognised 'Heavy Diesel' trade certificate
Hold a current driver's licence
Hold a current National Police clearance
Be able to pass a pre employment medical & drug and alcohol screening
Experience with underground Sandvik, Epiroc, Normet and CAT machinery is highly advantageous.

Unfortunately, we are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia.
