Jumbo Operator

MPI has been engaged by one of our key owner/operator clients to provide Jumbo Operators for a gold mine based in the Goldfields region of WA.

The role is for approximately twelve months with potential to extend beyond for the right candidates. The role is FIFO ex Perth on an 8/6-7/7 roster and 12 hour days.

To be considered you must have the following:

• Previous experience in underground hard rock techniques including level development and installation of ground support
• Proven knowledge of charging, firing, bogging and trucking of development headings
• Have a sound understanding of machinery and care of mechanical equipment
• Valid Australian HR Drivers Licence
• Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights Card
• National Police Clearance within 6 months
• Have the ability to pass a pre employment medical.

What is required from you:

• Must be team oriented, organised and prepared to undertake all assigned tasks by the Supervisor
• Hand overs and technical support to be shown to the team
• Demonstration of excellent housekeeping standards
• Operate machines to achieve the required production levels
• Ensure all pre-starts are completed and arrive fit for work for all rostered days
• Report all activities accurately to Pitram including loading location and nature of the material.
