Our client, a magnate of the gold mining industry, is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team with this residential role out of Kalgoorlie, WA, to start immediately. Excellent role for career growth and a kinder work-life balance makes this a singular opportunity.
The successful HSE professional will provide expert guidance and support to site-based Work Health and Safety (WHS) teams on safety, occupational hygiene, training, and WHS systems, ensuring compliance and best practices. This role also participates in site audits, inspections, incident investigations, and WHS system enhancements to foster a safe and healthy workplace.
About you:
- Health and safety expert with 3 years mining experience
- Cert IV in Work Health & Safety
- ICAM investigation and auditing experience
- Front-line supervision experience preferred
- Senior First Aid certificate or equivalent
- Experienced in creating training needs analysis
- Understands WA WHS Act 2020 and Mines Regulations 2022
- Certificate IV Training and Assessing (preferred).
