On behalf of one of our clients, MPI are currently seeking applications from Heavy Diesel Fitters for a vacancy across Western Australia. These are long-term opportunities and will see successful applicants initially working under contract with MPI before transferring over to permanent with the client.

About the roles:
The role will mainly be site workshop based plus some pit work as required. Daily duties will include servicing & breakdowns, plus diagnostics will play a big part of this position. You will be responsible for all mining fleet on site such as 100T CAT machinery, Hitachi excavators 1200 and 2000, dozers, graders, dump trucks and watercarts.

To be considered you will ideally:

Hold a relevant Australian recognised 'Heavy Diesel' trade certificate
Hold a current driver's license
Hold a current National Police clearance
Be able to pass all pre-employment medical requirements, including drug/alcohol screen
Have previous mine site experience
MUST be Westrac trained.

Unfortunately, we are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia.
