Senior Mining Engineer

We are partnering with WA gold mining company to recruit a Senior Mining Engineer. This opportunity is FIFO (8/6) into the WA Goldfields. The role and company offer incredible career development and progression opportunities with numerous sites across WA and overseas.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a dynamic team of Drill & Blast, Mine Planning, Ventilation & Infrastructure Engineers
Develop and implement optimal underground development plans, stope designs, 3MS, and mining methods to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Monitor daily mining operations to ensure compliance with established plans, production targets and quality control standards
Plan, budget, and implement capital expenditure projects
Perform other duties as assigned by the Mining Manager or delegate.

Key requirements:

Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in Australian Gold mining
Proficient in mine planning and design software, particularly Deswik.
