Take advantage of this superlative opportunity with our client, an established Gold Mining Producer, as they move into an exciting stage of development as an Environmental Superintendent. This role will suit an experienced and adaptable Enviro Professional who will help take the lead on this new phase of the company’s expanding portfolio to the next level.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage Regulation requirements around sensitive ecological sites
  • Strategise and oversee landform design requirements
  • Develop Environmental monitoring programs
  • Contribute to mine infrastructure planning and commitments
  • Execute environmental management plans
  • Report compliance/approval commitments
  • Execute rehabilitation programs
  • Heritage and community relations, communications with key stakeholders.
As the successful applicant you will be a highly adaptable, competent professional who communicates effectively with all stakeholders, can operate autonomously and independently and can manage teams on environmentally sensitive projects.

Other key requirements include:
  • Relevant Science/Engineering tertiary qualification
  • Substantial mining experience, ideally in WA gold mining
  • Experienced in the use of computer systems with emphasis geographical information systems and monitoring databases
  • Excellent priority management and organisational skills
  • Cert IV OHS qualifications.
This an outstanding opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-growing Gold Developer.  Initially Perth based, the successful applicant will eventually lead site based teams and offers excellent Remuneration and a diverse role.
