Environmental Advisor Mining and Closure

Key responsibilities include:
- Support and improve the company’s environmental management systems
- Update and enhance reclamation and closure planning
- Assist with studies related to mine expansions and closures and offer recommendations into strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure Mine closure planning and projects are executed successfully
- Communications around regulatory and technical requirements as it pertains to mining operations and closure rehabilitation.
Other key requirements include:
- Relevant science tertiary qualification and 3 years relevant experience
- Project management (desirable)
- Experienced in MS Office software – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent priority management skills on multiple concurrent projects
- Awareness of mine, WHS, heritage and environmental legislation and regulations.
