Exploration Geologist

MPI have partnered with a well-established gold mining company focused on exploration and production across several Western Australian tenements. Committed to responsible and sustainable mining practices, they are driven by innovation and a passion for discovering and developing valuable mineral resources.
MPI are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Exploration Geologist to join this team on a contract basis for the next 4-6 months to support their active drilling and field programs.
The role:
- Assist in planning and execution of RC drilling and core logging programs
- Supervise drilling activities, ensuring quality sample collection and data integrity
- Conduct geological mapping, logging and interpretation to guide exploration targeting
- Manage contractors and field logistics to deliver safe, efficient programs
- Contribute to geological modelling and resource evaluation as required
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Degree qualified geologist with a minimum or 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Previous gold exploration experience in Western Australia
- Competent in geological logging, mapping, sampling, and drill supervision
- Self-motivated and adaptable with a strong safety focus.
