Deputy Mine Superintendent
We are pleased to be recruiting a Deputy Mine Superintendent on a FIFO 7/7 roster to oversee mining operations at a WA Iron Ore mine site.
Reporting to the Project Manager your key responsibilities would be:

- Manage and coordinate all site mining and civil activities to ensure production and development targets are met safely and efficiently
- Supervise and support a team of Mining and Civil Supervisors, fostering a positive and accountable site culture
- Plan and execute daily and weekly operational schedules in line with project requirements
- Oversee drilling, blasting, load & haul, and civil infrastructure works (e.g., ROM pad construction, haul roads, drainage)
- Drive a strong safety culture by promoting compliance with PRG’s HSE policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety meetings, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate risk
- Ensure environmental compliance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and crews to build capability and performance
- Manage rosters, performance reviews, and workforce planning in collaboration with HR and project management.
- Minimum 10 years in Open Pit mining operations, including at least 5 years in Supervisory role
- Statutory Supervisor certification, or willingness to obtain
- C-class WA driver's licence
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
