Remember when KPIs made sense, and colleagues weren’t climbing over you to hit theirs?
Danny used to leave work feeling empty. Tired of the KPI-driven rivalry, she knew she needed a team that had her back.
Three months in, Danny’s work matters to her again. She runs her own desk and disciplines. Every client, every candidate, every outcome. Without the negative distractions.
It’s the kind of freedom that comes from feeling supported and trusted. It’s what helps good recruiters shape their own career paths.
Isn’t it time you felt good about recruitment again?
Great recruiters never stop learning
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to build on your knowledge. You’ll grow your expertise in mining and technical recruitment with regular training sessions and a clear development plan. You’ll be supported by experienced coaches to sharpen how you communicate, influence and recruit.
With long-term supply agreements in place with some of the biggest names in mining, 95% of your work will be speaking with people who know you. The other 5%? That’s where our business development and marketing teams will support you.
You’ll have the kind of tools and support that makes your job easier: Integrated tech, marketing, onboarding, payroll, and business development teams that have your back, so you’re freed up to focus on what you do best.
A positive workplace with the rewards to match
Culture isn’t a buzzword here. MPI recently won the 2025 Constructive Culture Award for leadership, employee experience, and ongoing culture measurement. Everyone pulls together to make it a great place to work.
You’ll be based in West Perth. A 5-minute walk from the CBD. You can enjoy flexible working with one day from home each week. When you need a holiday, we'll look after your desk, so you can relax without coming back to 500 emails.
On top of this, you can enjoy a highly competitive salary package with one of the industry's most rewarding bonus structures.
About you:
- You're somebody who has that desire to succeed. You enjoy building connections and you’re comfortable having honest conversations with people. You easily pick up on what people need and you enjoy working in a supportive team
- Experience in technical recruitment helps, ideally 12 months or more. Experience in mining is a bonus, but not essential
- If you care about supporting your colleagues and sharing successes, you’re going to fit right in.
If you want to feel like your career’s going somewhere again, now’s the time to make that move.
Everybody will hear back.
Unfortunately, MPI is only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work and reside in Australia.
