About our client:
Our client is Western Australian owned and operated leading provider in the mining and civil sector.

On behalf of our client, MPI are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Fitter to join their team.

About the role:

You will be responsible for the servicing and general preventative maintenance to their fleet of near new mobile equipment
Access and check all grease points, oil/ fluid levels and access refilling points; identify and report any oil/fuel leaks
Monitor and correctly dispose of waste oil, filters, and coolant according to company guidelines
Refuelling and servicing of machinery and recording data correctly
Trouble shoot and diagnose any issues that arise on vehicles and machines
Keeping service truck in good condition which includes servicing and washing.

Machinery consists of:

CAT D8 Dozers
CAT 330 Excavators
CAT 998 Loaders
CAT 14’ Graders
LV’s and Semi Water Carts.

The role is based on a 2/2 roster, FIFO ex Perth, working 12 hours per day and accommodation is resort style living.

To be considered, you will:

3+ years’ experience as a FIFO HD Fitter working CAT machinery as listed above
Hold a 'HR' driver's licence
Be able to provide a cleared medical and drug & alcohol screen
Be able to provide a police clearance.

Please note, only candidates with the appropriate experience who are Australian Permanent Residents or hold the necessary work permits to operate in Australia and are currently based in Australia will be considered.
