Long Hole Driller
MPI are seeking multiple Long Hole Driller Operators to work with our clients in Western Australia. These roles are offered on a long-term basis with the majority being temp to perm after 3 or 6 months working with owner operators and contractors.

Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and whom are currently in Australia.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of long hole drills in an underground production environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Operation long hole drilling equipment
- Collaboration with engineers and surveyors
- Reading and accurately following mine instruction plans with skill and precision ensuring holes are drilled to design line, gradient and profile
- Accurately drilling production holes (64mm up-holes)
- Occasional drilling of service holes
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and regular maintenance of equipment
- Setting up and troubleshooting on long hole drill rigs.
- Must have underground experience with a minimum of 12 months on the long hole drill
- Ability to obtain a national police check
- A valid driver's licence and relevant qualifications
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia.
