  • Permanent roles from the onset. Labour Hire with 25% casual loading also offered
  • 8/6, 7/7 roster FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton
  • Join a fantastic gold project as it transitions to an Owner/Operator model 
MPI are excited to partner with Vault Minerals to appoint Underground HD Fitters, as they transition their Deflector gold mine to an owner operator model. Assisting with their transition to an owner-operator model, these roles with be offered on a permanent full-time basis. Labour hire options will also be available. 

We are also seeking UG Drill Fitters & Workshop (UG exp) Fitters.

About the role:
  • Fully equipped workshop
  • All crews have fitters, auto electrician, plus floating assistance amongst crews
  • 3x Trucks, 6x Boggers (4x Tele-remote capable), 3x Jumbos, 2x Charge wagons, 2 Solo’s, 4x IT’s
  • Sandvik Jumbo’s (twin boom) and Solo’s, CAT Boggers, Epiroc Trucks, Normet Charge wagon, Volvo IT’s.

About you:

  • Vault Minerals pride themselves on a collaborative approach, therefore the ability to work closely with your team with a great can-do attitude is a must.  
Key requirements:
  • Hold relevant trade certifications
  • 2+ years post trade experience (essential)
  • Current C-class driver’s licence
  • Hold a current national police clearance
  • Underground exposure required, however we are prioritising enthusiasm along with great skillsets, so we will also look at people who may not have recent underground experience 
  • This particular role is also known as the Underground Breakdown Fitter.
