Underground Auto Electrician

  • Permanent roles from the onset or Labour Hire roles offered with 25% casual loading applied
  • 8/6-7/7 roster FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton
  • Join a fantastic gold project as it transitions to an Owner/Operator model
MPI are excited to partner with Vault Minerals to appoint Underground Auto Electricians, as they transition their Deflector gold mine to an owner operator model. Assisting with their transition to an owner-operator model, these roles with be offered on a permanent full-time basis. Labour hire options will also be available. 

About the role:
  • Provide quality and timely servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile plant equipment such as Trucks, Boggers, Jumbos, Charge wagons and other underground machinery
  • Perform quality fault finding to ensure accurate diagnosis of faults
  • Ensure all required parts are included in a scope of works for future equipment repairs as identified through maintenance tasks and inspections
  • Prioritise and respond quickly to urgent breakdowns.

  • Vault Minerals pride themselves on a collaborative approach, therefore the ability to work closely with your team with a great can-do attitude is a must.  
Key requirements: 
  • Trade certification in Automotive Electrical Fitting or equivalent 
  • Previous experience working in an underground mining environment
  • Current C-class driver’s licence
  • Hold a current national police clearance.
