MPI has partnered with Vault Minerals to appoint Workshop Fitters to their Deflector gold mine. Assisting with their transition to an owner-operator model, these roles with be offered on a permanent full-time basis.

About the role:
You will be responsible for carrying out the maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on heavy machinery and equipment in a workshop environment.

About you: 

You will possess a strong collaborative approach to work as well as being detailed focused and have a strong focus on outcomes & results
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
We are also looking for people that are committed to getting the task completed and having the right attitude
Punctuality along with a great can-do attitude is a must.

Key requirements: 

Trade qualified Heavy-Deisel Fitter
Previous experience working on Underground equipment
This role is the workshop-based role, should you be looking for a Drill fitting or Breakdown fitter role, we also require candidates for these positions - please apply to this role and we will call you.
Familiarity with a range of heavy UG equipment – Sandvik, Epiroc and Caterpillar
Valid manual drivers Licence
Working at Heights and Confined Spaces
Hold a current national police clearance (6 months).
