Underground Shift Supervisor

MPI is currently seeking experienced Underground Shift Supervisors to join our clients across Western Australia.

These opportunities are available on both long-term permanent and casual contract bases with well-established owner-operator mining companies.

About the role:
Reporting to the Underground Foreman, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating underground crews to meet production targets while maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Key responsibilities:
  • Supervise underground mining activities during shift
  • Ensure safety protocols and company procedures are followed
  • Monitor performance and provide leadership to crew members
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the operation.
What we’re looking for:
  • WA Underground Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a similar underground supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Current WA “C” class driver’s licence
  • Proven commitment to safety and operational efficiency.
