Project Manager (Surface Projects)

We are partnering with Pantoro Gold to recruit a Projects Manager for their project at Norseman on an 8/6 FIFO roster.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will responsible for:

Lead planning, execution, control and close-out of civil and surface mining projects
Manage tenders, service and supply agreements, budgets, schedules, risks and resources
Review, prepare and administer contract documentation
Support environmental approvals, MP/MCP reviews, and provide compliance reporting
Lead annual updates of mine closure scopes and costings
Oversee civil works including design, specifications and construction (MRWA understanding desirable)
Support open pit project works including layouts, ground support, rehab, dewatering and contractor management
Manage ore haulage and crusher feed interface (desirable)
Oversee dewatering infrastructure and control systems
Deliver TSF design and construction projects (required)
Identify mine services and infrastructure required for surface and underground operations
Ensure contractor compliance with site safety, environmental and operational requirements
Fulfil statutory responsibilities under WHS legislation
Conduct workplace inspections, audits and safety observations
Maintain timely communication with the SSE regarding safety issues
Produce weekly and monthly project progress reports.

Key requirements:

Bachelor of Civil or Diploma of Surface Operations would be desirable
Minimum 8 years in civil projects supervisory role
Minimum 15 year experience with civil projects
C class drivers' licence
National police clearance
Strong leadership and team motivation abilities
Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving skills
Effective time management and communication.
