MPI are currently seeking applications from experienced Camp and Village Tradespersons and/or maintainers to work in a Caretaker style role. This position is being offered on a permanent basis with a reputable mining client.

About the role:
Reporting to the Site Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Inspection and maintenance of camp and plant generators, sump pumps, etc.
Fuel levels
Tailings Facility (TSF) inspections, level recordings, drain pump monitoring
Camp / potable water testing, level monitoring, chloring adjustments
Basic mechanical maintenance of light vehicles
Waste facility inspections
Emergency lighting and siren check
Camp/accommodations lighting, AC check
Other duties as directed.

To be considered:

Experience working in a Village/Camp Tradesperson or Caretaker style role (essential)
Electrical trade background strongly preferred
Nominees or WA Electrical certificate (essential)
Current national police clearance
Current C class (manual) licence
Rigging/Dogging, Working at Heights, Forklift, C6 crane, First Aid certificate all desirable.
