Fixed Plant Fitter

8/6 FIFO from Perth
Coverage role until February 2026 with potential to extend
Commencing 31st of December

MPI are currently seeking an experience Fixed Plant Fitters to join our client’s gold mining operation in WA.

About the role:
You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of fixed plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation of the processing plant.

Key duties:

Preventative and breakdown maintenance on crushers, conveyors, mills, pumps, thickeners, and screens
Fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical equipment
Inspections and component change-outs
Contributing to safe work practices and supporting continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for:

Trade qualification – Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
Recent fixed plant maintenance experience in the mining industry (gold processing highly regarded)
EWP ticket – essential
Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets – desirable
Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively within a team.
