Alternate Quarry Manager
We are pleased to be partnering with a WA iron ore producer to recruit an Alternate Quarry Manager on a FIFO 8/6 roster to assist manage mining operations at their Pilbara mine site.

- Assist in managing day-to-day mining, drill and blast, load and haul, and crushing operations
- Support delivery of production targets, ensuring adherence to mine plans, budgets, and schedules
- Oversee operational readiness, shift handovers, and daily coordination meetings
- Act as the Alternate Site Senior Executive when the appointed Quarry Manager is off-site
- Promote and enforce compliance with the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022
- Lead and participate in safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and risk reviews
- Ensure environmental compliance and adherence to site-specific management plans
- Provide direct supervision and mentoring to supervisors, operators, and contractors
- Foster a strong safety culture and a high standard of operational discipline
- Maintain strong communication with the Quarry Manager and leadership team.
- Minimum 8 years in Open Pit mining operations, including at least 5 years in supervisory role
- WA Quarry Managers Certificate
- Site Senior Executive qualification
- C class WA driver's licence
- Loader Operator ticket, recognised in Australia
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
