Geology Technician
- 8/6 roster FIFO ex Perth

We’re seeking Geology Technicians to support a Resource Definition drilling program across WA’s Goldfields region. This is a hands-on role suited to techs with experience in core yard operations, RC sampling or surface field work who enjoy being actively involved on site.
The role:
Reporting to a Senior Resource Definition Geologist, you’ll support day-to-day drilling and geological activities that directly contribute to resource growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drill core processing and core yard duties
- RC sample collection and surface field technician work
- Assisting with safe and efficient drill rig and sampling activities
- Working closely with geologists and drill crews in a team-focused environment.
- At least 6 months’ experience in one or more of the following:
- Core yard / drill core processing
- RC sampling or surface field technician work
- Clear communication skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a crew
- Manual C-class driver’s licence
- Comfortable working FIFO in a production-focused environment
- Current national police clearance (within the last 6 months)
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing.
- Roster: 8/6, 12-hour days
- FIFO: ex Perth
- Location: WA Goldfields region
- Start: Early January, subject to onboarding and site schedules
- Initial contract: 3 months, with potential to review or extend.
- Consistent FIFO roster within a structured program
- Strong exposure to resource definition drilling
