Senior Project Cost Engineer

Our client is a global mining company with operating assets in Australia. They require a contract Senior Cost Engineer/Controller to join their Project Services team in at their Perth Office.

Reporting to the Project Services Manager you will be responsible for planning, developing, monitoring and maintaining project budgets, cost forecast and regional capital reporting requirements.

Other key responsibilities of the role include:

Execution of the cost management functions
Ensuring appropriate control of indirect reports
Support relevant procurement processes
Integration of project services with cost management
Regional capex reporting.

The successful person will possess:

A degree qualification or equivalent in engineering or finance related disciplines
Cost Management experience
Experience with SAP for reporting, accruals and processing of invoices
Strong attention to detail.

The position is a Perth based for 6 months and offers competitive remuneration.
