Field Supervisor

If you’re an experienced Field Supervisor looking for a stable, long-term role where you can run the field with confidence and consistency, this is a strong opportunity.

This is a permanent FIFO ex Perth position on an active exploration program with a well-defined site structure and experienced technical support. You’ll work with the same core team each swing, allowing you to build momentum, strong working relationships, and smooth site execution.

The role operates on a 15/13 roster, with a mid-February 2026 start.

Why this role works for you:
  • Permanent employment with roster stability and clear expectations
  • Consistent crews each rotation, making leadership and planning more effective
  • Genuine ownership of day-to-day field operations
  • Strong on-site geology leadership to support decision-making
  • A role focused on execution, not unnecessary admin.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be responsible for supervising field crews and ensuring exploration programs are delivered safely, efficiently, and to plan. Each swing, you’ll work alongside a Senior Exploration Geologist, two Exploration Geologists, and a team of Field Assistants.

Your focus will include:
  • Leading and coordinating field crews and daily activities
  • Ensuring safe execution of RC and Diamond drilling and sampling programs
  • Liaising closely with Senior Exploration Geologists and contractors
  • Managing vehicles, equipment, logistics and compliance
  • Supporting site HSE standards and reporting.
What we’re looking for:
This role is suited to someone already operating comfortably at Field Supervisor level.

You’ll bring:
  • Proven experience as a Field Supervisor in exploration environments
  • Strong exposure to RC and Diamond drilling programs
  • Confident leadership style and strong communication skills
  • A practical, safety-first approach to field operations
  • Section 26 certification preferred.
If you’re looking for a permanent Field Supervisor role with structure, support, and the autonomy to do your job well, we’d love to hear from you.

Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and whom are currently in Australia. Sponsorship opportunities are not available for this position.
