Leading Hand Electrician - Fixed Plant

8/6, 7/7 roster FIFO from Perth
Contract 3-months +
Weekly pay + super on all hours worked

MPI have been engaged by an ASX-listed gold producer to recruit an experienced Leading Hand Electrician for their processing plant operations.

About the role:
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will assist the allocation of tasks to the Electricians and monitor the day-to-day activities of the electrical team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Supervise and schedule electrical maintenance activities on the processing plant
Allocate resources for breakdown and ensure safe, efficient work practices
Manage electrical maintenance on crushing, milling and gold processing circuits
Mentore and support team members, resolving issues as they arise
Ensure compliance with procedures and availability of required materials/equipment.

About you:

Australian Electrical Trade Certificate
Current WA electrical licence
Previous experience working on a processing plant in production
Current WA C Class driver’s licence
Able to pass a full medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and who are currently located in Western Australia.
