Leading Hand Electrician - Fixed Plant

  • 8/6, 7/7 roster FIFO from Perth
  • Contract 3-months +
  • Weekly pay + super on all hours worked
MPI have been engaged by an ASX-listed gold producer to recruit an experienced Leading Hand Electrician for their processing plant operations.
 
About the role:

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will assist the allocation of tasks to the Electricians and monitor the day-to-day activities of the electrical team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Supervise and schedule electrical maintenance activities on the processing plant
  • Allocate resources for breakdown and ensure safe, efficient work practices
  • Manage electrical maintenance on crushing, milling and gold processing circuits
  • Mentore and support team members, resolving issues as they arise
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and availability of required materials/equipment.
About you:
  • Australian Electrical Trade Certificate
  • Current WA electrical licence
  • Previous experience working on a processing plant in production
  • Current WA C Class driver’s licence
  • Able to pass a full medical and drug & alcohol screening.
