Cost Control Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Controller Administrator to support sustaining capital projects within a dynamic mining environment. This is a FIFO opportunity on an 8/6 roster, flying from Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, or Alice Springs, offered on an initial 3-month contract with competitive hourly rates.

- Validate actuals, commitments, service sheets, and contractor invoices against POs, contracts, and timesheets
- Identify and flag inconsistencies (hours, WBS, cost centre errors) and follow up with contractors and administrators to resolve issues
- Assist in preparing accruals for outstanding services and materials
- Update monthly forecasts and cost trackers under team guidance
- Support the preparation of monthly cost reports
- Work across systems including SAP, Ariba, Smartsheet, SharePoint, timesheet portals, and Power BI inputs.
Required:
- Experience in administrative, finance, or project support roles, preferably within the mining or resources industry
- Basic understanding of project cost control principles (budgets, actuals, commitments)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, organised, and reliable approach.
- Power BI skills or a willingness to learn
- Diploma in Business, Office Administration, or a related discipline
- Understanding of project controls or cost management processes.
