MPI is currently partnering with several underground mining operations across Western Australia and is seeking experienced Underground Drill Fitters and Heavy-Duty Fitters for ongoing FIFO and local opportunities.

These roles are ideal for tradespeople looking for strong hourly rates, flexible rosters, and the opportunity to work across well-established UG sites with reputable clients.

What’s on offer:

Pay rates from $90/hr + super
FIFO rosters available: 8/6, 7/7, 2/2 and 2/1 (FIFO from Perth)
Local Perth opportunities: 5/2 roster
DIDO from Geraldton (site dependent)
Contract and permanent positions available
Weekly pay for contract roles.

About the roles:

Maintenance and breakdown support of underground mining equipment
Drill Fitters: Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT, Atlas Copco (experience highly regarded)
HD Fitters: UG mobile plant including loaders, trucks, charge-up and ancillary equipment
Working as part of a safety-focused maintenance team.

To be successful, you will have:

Australian-recognised Trade Qualification
Proven underground mining experience
Current Australian driver’s licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A
National police clearance (within 6 months).
