MPI are seeking experienced Underground Electricians, and we are also keen to hear from surface mining electricians who are motivated to transition underground and build their UG experience with the right support.

The role:
As part of the underground maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for:

Installing underground electrical reticulation and infrastructure
Maintaining and repairing underground drilling equipment, remote systems, communication & network systems
Electrical maintenance and breakdowns across fixed plant, dewatering infrastructure and telemetry systems.

What we’re looking for:

WA “A” grade electrical licence
HV switching ticket
Current WA “C” class driver’s licence
First Aid Certificate + national police clearance
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including lab drug & alcohol screen
Bonus points for Working at Heights and High-Risk Work licence.
