Our client is a highly successful business, with technical success in assisting in the development of projects and project assessments across the globe. They are seeking an Engineering Manager to replace a promotion within their business.

The position will oversee the companies engineering function by leading the mechanical, process, civil/structural and electrical day-to-day delivery across the study and execution phases.

Key responsibilities:

Provide hands on design, review and technical support
Lead the scoping, PFS and DFS phases of engineering
Provide technical support to laboratory batch and pilot plant equipment
Manage and develop a small multidisciplinary team
Coordinate engineering resources across all projects
Support capital costs estimation, procurement, and vendor engagement.

To be successful you will possess:

Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering
Demonstrated experience in delivering scoping, PFS and DFS study phases in a lean team
Practical experience with pilot plant, and small-scale process plant engineering
Working knowledge of electrical/instrumentation, automation and digital system interfaces
Hands-on, delivery focussed leadership style.
