Senior Mine Surveyor

Playing an integral role in the owners' team, an appropriately experienced Surveyor is required to fulfil the position of Senior Underground Mine Surveyor.
As the Senior Mine Surveyor, you will play a critical role in establishing and implementing the systems and processes required to support surveying for the underground mine.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Manage the surveying function to ensure optimal support
- Have regular communication with the underground team regarding surveying activities
- Provide accurate data for mine planning, design compliance and performance tracking
- Produce end-of-week and end-of-month survey reports
- With appropriate training & mentoring, you will be involved with the mine engineering functions on site, including designs, planning, and scheduling of development and stoping.
- Previous experience in underground mining, preferably at a greenfield site
- A keen interest in broadening your skills to include mining engineering functions
- Proven ability to develop and implement surveying systems and processes
- Proficiency in relevant mining/survey software and instruments
- A positive “can do” attitude to work in a small dynamic team.
