Project Geologist

An established gold explorer operating in a highly prospective belt near Wiluna is seeking a Project Exploration Geologist to join the team on a temp to perm basis. This is a hands-on, drill-focused role within an active exploration program where you will have genuine input into targeting and program delivery.

Working a 2/1 roster (FIFO ex Perth to Wiluna, departing Wednesdays), you will play a key role in managing and executing RC and AC drilling programs, contributing from planning through to logging, interpretation and target refinement. The environment is lean, technical and collaborative, suited to someone who enjoys being close to the rocks and influencing decisions in real time.

Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing and executing RC and AC drill programs
Geological logging, mapping and sampling
Interpreting results and contributing to target generation
Assisting with reporting and ongoing exploration strategy.

You will bring 3–5 years’ experience in gold exploration, with strong field capability and sound geological reasoning. Clear communication, practical decision-making and the ability to operate effectively within a small team are essential. This opportunity suits a geologist who enjoys owning a project and having accountability over drilling outcomes.
