Prefer being workshop-based but still confident attending underground breakdowns when required?

We’re seeking experienced Workshop Fitters for 8/6, 7/7 OR 2/2 FIFO rosters from Perth to join the maintenance teams at established underground gold mines. These are contract or contract to permanent opportunities offering long-term stability within well-structured maintenance teams.

These roles will see you primarily based in the surface workshop completing planned maintenance, repairs, and component rebuilds on underground mobile plant. When required, you’ll also attend underground breakdowns to support operations and minimise downtime.

Ideal background:

Trade-qualified Fitter (Mechanical)
Previous underground mining experience
Experience maintaining and fault finding on underground mobile plant
Current C class licence
Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
