Geology Assistant

This is a residential Geology Assistant role supporting production and drilling activities at a well‑established gold operation in WA’s Eastern Goldfields.
The role supports an experienced geology team and focuses on consistent grade control, sampling, and drilling support. The work is practical, site based, and follows established systems with a strong emphasis on safety, QAQC, and data integrity.
This role suits candidates who are already local, enjoy hands‑on geology work, and want straightforward expectations and steady contract employment.

Duties include:
- Ore mark‑ups, ore spotting, and in‑pit sampling
- RC drilling support, including sampling and chip collection
- Diamond drill core processing, cutting, and sampling
- Sample handling, QAQC, and dispatch to the assay laboratory
- General field work as required
- Skills & Experience
- Manual C‑Class driver’s licence
- Forklift licence preferred
- HR licence highly regarded
- Previous recent experience in a similar role (minimum 6 months).
- Residential role only
- Based in Kalgoorlie or Kambalda
- 8/6 roster, 11‑hour day shifts
- 6‑month contract
- Weekly pay.
