  • Identify and progress business improvement initiatives and economic optimisation opportunities
  • Solve technical and operational challenges through practical, data-driven decision making
  • Mentor, coach and develop engineering and technical personnel through regular training, support and performance reviews
  • Foster strong collaboration between technical and operational teams to ensure alignment and successful execution
  • Be a point of contact for Geotechnical, Survey, Vent and Projects departments.
Key requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years’ underground mining experience
  • Degree in Mining Engineering recognised in Australia
  • WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate, desirable
  • Strong underground production and mine planning experience
  • Deep understanding of highly productive narrow vein mining environments
  • Exposure to a variety of underground mining methods.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing professional technical teams
  • Strong capability using mine planning and design software, including Deswik and Ventsim
  • Manual C class driver’s licence.
What’s on Offer:

Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and whom are currently in Australia.
