This is a newly created Perth based role within a rapidly growing mining company, who attract and retain some of the industry’s best talent.
They trust their people and provide real opportunities as the company grows year on year. From day one, you’re empowered to do your job properly, there’s no micromanagement and no narrow silos.
A Mining Career That Fits Around Your Life, Without the FIFO Roster!
Hybrid working with flexibility to work from home
Once a month, underground site visits
Flexible start and finish times within standard business hours
Newly created role! Shape it, don’t inherit outdated processes
Small, collaborative, give‑and‑take team culture
Diverse work across a growing portfolio
The opportunity:
For the first 6–12 months, you’ll focus on a flagship underground project with a mine life of 10+ years. This gives you the opportunity to work deeply on a long‑life asset, influence strategic direction early, and see your work carry real long‑term impact.
This is a hands‑on role with no team management.
You’ll work closely with the GM, Principal Mining Engineer, and Senior Mining Engineer, with direct exposure to senior decision‑making.
You’ll be involved across life‑of‑mine planning, scheduling, scenario analysis, optimisation, and future growth studies. As the business continues to expand, so will your scope and your career options.
