Field Technician
If you like structured site work, day shift only, and knowing exactly what your next three months look like, this contract is worth considering. Clear roster, clear scope, and a straightforward grade control program close to an active open pit mining operation.
This Field Technician role supports grade control programs near an operating open pit mine site. It’s a 3‑month contract, starting mid to late June, designed to cover a defined program rather than fill gaps.
You’ll be working an 8/6 roster, Friday to Friday, on day shift only. Flights are chartered from Perth to Laverton, removing the uncertainty and downtime that often comes with mixed travel arrangements.
The work is hands‑on and consistent, assisting RC drilling programs tied directly to grade control requirements. You’ll be part of a site team that values accurate data, reliable field practices, and steady progress over rushed results. This suits someone who prefers a predictable routine, clear expectations, and meaningful technical contribution without long swings or night shift.
This role is well suited to a Field Technician with strong RC drilling experience who understands grade control workflows and can operate confidently in an active mining environment.
You’ll be expected to work safely, communicate clearly with supervisors and drill crews, and maintain accurate records in the field. It’s a role for someone who doesn’t need close supervision, understands the pace of open pit mining operations, and can be relied on to deliver consistent results day after day.
