Senior Sales Engineer – Aftermarket (Minerals / Bulk Handling)

Competitive Salary  + STI + travel uplift | Flexible working | High-impact role

We are partnering with a global OEM at the forefront of bulk material handling to appoint an experienced Aftermarket Sales Lead supporting major mining operations across WA.

This is a standout opportunity to step into a role with an established client base, high value equipment and genuine autonomy to make an impact.

The opportunity:
You will take ownership of a portfolio of key mining clients, driving aftermarket growth across service, parts and upgrades for critical large-scale equipment.

This is a relationship-led role where success is built on understanding client operations, anticipating maintenance needs and identifying commercial opportunities.

You will act as the key interface between site stakeholders and internal engineering teams, ensuring seamless delivery from concept through to installation.

What’s on offer:
  • Circa $170k+ super (flexible for the right person)
  • 10% STI
  • 20% uplift when travelling
  • Flexible working environment
  • 5-day fortnight in the office with hybrid options
  • Exposure to a globally recognised engineering business
  • Established client base – you are not starting from scratch
  • Autonomy to shape and grow the role.
The role:
  • Manage and grow relationships with a select number of Tier 1 mining clients
  • Identify and deliver opportunities across service, maintenance and upgrades
  • Coordinate technical and commercial inputs including design, pricing and delivery
  • Partner closely with engineering, projects and operations teams
  • Spend time on site building trust and visibility with key stakeholders.
About you:
  • Proven sales experience within mining or heavy industry
  • Strong background in bulk material handling or mineral processing
  • Existing industry relationships are critical, within the Australian market
  • Technically minded – able to engage confidently with engineers and operations teams
  • Likely from a trade or hands-on background who has progressed into sales
  • Commercially astute with strong stakeholder engagement.
Why this role:
Opportunities like this are rare. You will be working with high value assets and a small, defined customer base where relationships genuinely matter. With limited competitors and long lifecycle equipment, this is a role where strong performers build lasting value.

If you are looking to leverage your industry relationships into a role with flexibility, autonomy and strong earning potential, this is worth a conversation.

Preference for this role to be based in WA, however would consider the right person in QLD, with the need for travel etc.

Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and whom are currently in Australia.
