The role:
You'll join a supportive and dedicated leader who is committed to maintaining high standards across the operation. This role will suit someone who embraces new technology and takes pride in delivering accurate survey outcomes with a strong focus on safety.
Key responsibilities include:
• Underground surveying for development, production and infrastructure
• Maintaining survey control and underground void models
• Producing survey plans and technical reports
• Development and production volume calculations
• End-of-month reporting and reconciliations
• Ground control and prism monitoring
• Equipment calibration and maintenance
• Working closely with Technical Services and Underground Operations.
You'll bring:
• Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree in Surveying
• Strong competency in Deswik
• Experience with Leica survey equipment, CMS and GPS technology
• Exposure to drone and photogrammetry technology highly regarded
• Grade 1 certification (or working towards) – highly desirable
• Strong reporting and volume reconciliation skills
• A proactive, safety-first mindset
• Confidence adopting new technologies and systems
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Current WA driver's licence.
