Mine Geologist
We are partnering with one of our key clients to recruit 2 x Mine Geologist’s on a permanent basis for their Lithium project near Kalgoorlie as they transition into production. Play a key leadership role in establishing and developing the geology function across both open pit and underground operations.
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team focused on delivering safe, efficient and value-driven mining outcomes. This role will suit a geologist who enjoys working in a hands-on operational environment, is eager to develop their technical capabilities, and wants to be part of a growing ASX-listed mining company with strong long-term prospects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support open pit and underground development and production activities
- Conduct geological mapping, sampling and data collection
- Assist with grade control programs and ore mark-up activities
- Support drilling programs, including resource development and production drilling
- Maintain accurate geological records, databases and reporting systems
- Assist with geological interpretation and orebody understanding
- Contribute to reconciliation reporting and analysis
- Work closely with Mining, Planning and Technical Services teams to support operational performance
- Promote and uphold strong safety, environmental and community standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the geology function
- Experience in mine geology within open pit and/or underground mining operations
- Lithium experience highly regarded, otherwise other hard rock commodities will be considered
- Degree in Geology recognised in Australia
- Strong understanding of grade control and mine geology practices
- Well-developed communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Practical problem-solving ability and a solutions-focused mindset
- Manual C class driver’s licence
