Field Assistant
If you’re looking for a drilling program that is organised, steady and properly set up, this is worth your time. This is a DIDO role from Kalgoorlie or Kambalda into a well-run surface diamond campaign where the focus is doing the work properly, not rushing through it.
This program runs from August through to November, completing a series of surface diamond holes within a stable and well-supported environment. You’ll work a 2/1 roster on 12-hour day shifts only, keeping things consistent across the swing. Camp is located close to site, so your time is spent working rather than travelling. Transport is provided from Kalgoorlie, along with accommodation and meals for the duration of the program.
You’ll be part of a small, capable team including geologists, drillers and site leadership. The work centres around core handling, sampling support and maintaining a clean, systematic workflow across the drilling program. Equipment and systems are in place to support the job, including core saws, forklifts and digital core imaging. The pace is steady and suits people who take a methodical approach and value accuracy in their work.
The setup is clear from the outset. Defined scope, experienced supervision and the resources needed to deliver safely and efficiently. You won’t be stepping into a role that is still being figured out. Expectations are straightforward and the team environment is practical and supportive.
You will have:
If this sounds like a program where you can apply your skills in a well-run environment, apply now.
Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and whom are currently in Australia.
