Senior Maintenance Planner
You’ll take ownership of the planning function across a fixed plant - building job plans, coordinating materials and making sure work is properly prepared before it hits the floor.
This isn’t just scheduling. You’ll be across shutdown planning, backlog control, and ensuring work orders are executable and not just sitting in the system.
It’s also not a desk-only role. You’ll be out in the plant validating scopes, planning parts and spares, and making sure what’s planned actually reflects what’s required.
You’ll have the backing to enforce planning standards, maintain consistency, and ensure work is delivered properly.
It will suit someone who:
- Prefers structure but knows when to adapt
- Is comfortable pushing back when work isn’t ready
- Is hands-on and confident in the field
- Can align maintenance, operations, and supply without friction.
This is a well-established processing operation where expectations are clear - planning discipline, shutdown readiness, and work quality are non-negotiable.
You’ll bring:
- Strong fixed plant maintenance planning experience
- Minimum 5 years’ Pronto experience
- Gold processing plant experience
- Proven shutdown planning and work pack development capability
- Strong knowledge of parts, materials, and work management systems
- A trade base or solid technical background.
You’ll be stepping into a role where the planning function is already structured, and your focus is ensuring it’s followed and executed properly.
Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia and whom are currently in Australia.
