You’ll be part of the team establishing operations, supporting commissioning activities and contributing to production ramp-up, gaining exposure and responsibility that can be difficult to find in larger, more established organisations.

The role exposes you to multiple ore sources, evolving operating strategies and the challenges that come with bringing a new operation into production. You won’t be stepping into a layered operation where every decision is buried in process. This is a nimble team focused on getting things done safely, efficiently and the right way the first time. You’ll work alongside leaders who value practical experience and recognise that some of the best ideas come from the people closest to the work.

This role goes beyond steady-state production - you’ll be responsible for building the processing operations function from the ground up. You’ll establish the workforce, implement operating systems and lead the safe commissioning and stabilisation of the hybrid gold processing facility.

Working closely with metallurgy and project leadership, you’ll drive operational readiness, develop team capability and ensure the plant transitions from commissioning through to consistent performance. The role offers exposure to both start-up challenges and longer-term operational leadership, positioning you to shape how the Forrestania operation operates as it scales.

About You

• Building and leading the processing operations team, including supervisors, metallurgists and support personnel
• Driving plant commissioning, start-up and stabilisation of the hybrid gold processing operation
• Establishing operational systems, training, and workforce capability to support long-term performance.
