Project Exploration Geologist

This is a chance to join a small exploration team where your contribution genuinely matters. You'll have visibility across the full exploration cycle, from target generation and field mapping through to drill planning, execution and interpretation, rather than being limited to a narrow part of the process.

Based between West Perth and the Eastern Goldfields, you'll split your time between technical work and field programs. Travel is campaign-based, with field mapping programs typically running for one to two weeks and drilling campaigns lasting several weeks at a time, providing a healthy mix of hands-on exploration and office-based interpretation.

You'll be trusted to make decisions, contribute ideas and take ownership of your work. The structure is lean, communication is direct, and you'll work closely with senior leadership and technical personnel who value initiative and accountability.

The company has a portfolio of advanced gold and gold-copper projects in the Kalgoorlie region, with ongoing drilling, resource growth and development activities creating plenty of opportunity for exploration success and professional growth.

To succeed in this role you will have:

• Degree qualifications in Geology, Applied Geology or a related Earth Science discipline
• 2+ years exploration geology experience, ideally within gold and/or base metals environments
• Experience with drilling programs, geological mapping, logging and target generation
• Proficiency with Leapfrog, Micromine, ArcGIS, IoGas, IMDEX and ExpertGPS
• A self-motivated approach and the confidence to work autonomously within a small team
• Section 26 certification will be viewed favourably.
