Great recruiters know how to build something that lasts.

Some desks are developed and ready for further expansion. Others need resilience to get moving. MPI has a range of blue-collar, volume desks open. Each has its own mix of candidates, clients and opportunities. Each is ready for someone like you to make it their own.

This is a volume, blue-collar position. You’ll pick up the phone and find people. Depending on the desk that’s best fit for you, you might be picking up existing relationships with solid history or building something from the ground up.

Either way, you know the fundamentals stay the same. Conversations with clients and candidates. Growing your pipeline. Experiencing the results that shape your career.

You’ll spend the first few weeks building momentum and getting to know your market. When the calls start landing and the right candidates start responding, you'll feel the desk moving. And when you're in that rhythm of talent pooling and marketing good candidates to clients, you've got the opportunity to work on what can become. A high-earning desk for you.

Great recruiters never stop learning.

You'll have the opportunity to build on what you already know. You'll grow your expertise in mining workforce recruitment with regular training sessions and a clear development plan. You'll be supported by experienced coaches to help you get more from every call. With agreements in place with some of the biggest names in mining, much of your work will be speaking with people who've heard of you.

And when new opportunities come up, you'll be backed by our business development and marketing teams, so you won't feel like you're going in cold or unsupported. You'll have the tools and support that make your job easier: Integrated tech, marketing, onboarding, payroll, and business development teams that have your back, so you're freed up to focus on what you do best.

You'll be based in West Perth. A 5-minute walk from the CBD. You can enjoy flexible working with one day from home each week. When you need a holiday, we'll look after your desk, so you're not coming back to 500 emails.

About you:
You have a desire to succeed. You enjoy building relationships and you're comfortable having honest conversations with people. You can easily pick up on what people need and you enjoy working in a supportive team.

Experience in technical recruitment helps, ideally 18 months or more. Experience in blue collar mining is a bonus, but it's not essential.
