Geology Assistant
Join a well-established underground gold mining operation where you'll support both geology and geotechnical teams, contributing directly to safe and efficient mining activities. Working on an 8/6, 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth on a 6-month contract with rotating day and night shift, you'll play an important role in collecting, recording, and maintaining geological and geotechnical data that supports day-to-day mining decisions and ground control management.
You will have:
- Previous underground mining experience supporting geologists and/or geotechnical engineers
- Strong observational, recording, and data collection skills
- Experience driving vehicle’s underground
- Current WA driver's licence (C-class and HR required)
- Current national police clearance (within 12 months)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
If you're looking for a role where you can expand on your underground experience, develop specialist technical skills, and contribute to both geology and geotechnical functions, we'd like to hear from you!
