Resource Development Geologist

Working on an 8:6 roster, this initial 3-month contract is a hands-on opportunity for a geologist who is eager to gain further experience in a production-focused environment.

You'll be responsible for accurately logging and recording geological information while working closely with the broader Exploration and Resource Development teams to support drilling programs and project objectives.

The team is seeking someone with the enthusiasm and capability to hit the ground running, making this an excellent opportunity for an early-career geologist looking to expand their experience on a large-scale gold operation. Candidates with slightly less experience will also be considered if they can demonstrate strong enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and the ability to quickly adapt to site requirements.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • A degree in Geology or a related discipline
  • Experience with RC and/or diamond/core logging
  • Strong attention to detail and geological record-keeping skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • The ability to work effectively within a site-based team environment
  • A current manual C class driver's licence.

If you're looking to build on your geology experience and join a supportive team on a well-established gold operation, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply now or get in touch for a confidential discussion.

Unfortunately, MPI are only able to consider candidates with appropriate and relevant experience who are Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or hold valid working rights in Australia and are currently residing in Australia.
