Core Logging Geologist
Working on a 15:13 roster FIFO ex Perth, you'll be responsible for logging and processing diamond core (up to 100m per day), sampling support and geological data management. You'll be part of the geology team, ensuring accurate, high-quality geological information is captured throughout the drilling campaign.
This is a hands-on role suited to geologists who love Greenfields exploration and consider the core-yard their home away from home. You’re not afraid to get hands-on with core processing and preparation, while mentoring core-yard technicians and field assistants. Alongside core logging, you’ll uphold rigorous QAQC standards and maintain high-quality data management practices.

To be successful, you'll have:
- A degree in Geology
- Manual driver’s licence
- Minimum 2 years' exploration experience in Australia
- Strong core logging experience, within gold or base metals
- Experience with geological data management and QAQC processes
- Systems experience with Geobank, Plexer, Leapfrog, and Micromine will be highly regarded
- The ability to work independently and contribute across a range of exploration activities
- A proactive attitude and willingness to assist wherever required.
This is an opportunity to secure a 1–2-month contract with an active gold exploration team and contribute to a significant drilling campaign from day one.
