The Opportunity - Health and Safety Advisor (Contract to Perm)

This Health & Safety Advisor contract role exists for exactly that. You’ll get trusted to make decisions that shape the business, part of a healthy, respectful team culture and feel valued with structured career pathways.
This role will give you an opportunity to deliver operational Health & Safety support to site leaders, work teams and departments. You’ll provide coaching, risk management, inspections, incident investigations, verification activities and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will drive safe work practices and ensure full compliance with site, statutory and legislative requirements.
You’ll conduct and verify workplace inspections, incident investigations and field-based safety interactions. You’ll deliver coaching and mentoring to teams on safe work practices. You’ll support compliance with site and legislative requirements while maintaining high standards of reporting, documentation and continuous improvement.
The pace is structured 5/2 and 4/3 roster with 11–12 hour days. You’ll get all the resources you need to do interesting and varied work.
You’ll be stepping into a role that suits people who want skill development and exposure. The contract runs 3–6 months with potential for permanent for a strong performer.
The company behind this role is trusted by major names in the industry, so your work instantly has credibility and reach. You’ll get access to fully furnished site accommodation and must provide your own transport DIDO.
This works well for someone who getting out onto the floor, conducting workplace inspections, incident investigations and supporting operational leaders in risk management and safety improvement activities.
