Project Exploration Geologist

Some project roles hand you a drill program to run. This one gives you the opportunity to help shape what's drilled next.

An established gold exploration team is preparing for a significant increase in drilling activity, creating an opportunity for a Project Exploration Geologist to take ownership of key exploration programs across a highly prospective gold district.

This is an initial three-month contract with a view to extension, coinciding with an RC rig arriving in late September and further RC, AC and diamond drilling planned throughout 2027. Rather than stepping into a narrowly defined role, you'll join at a time when exploration priorities are being actively advanced and new targets are moving toward drill testing.

You'll work closely with senior technical personnel while maintaining responsibility for drill program planning, geological interpretation and target generation. The role offers the chance to contribute beyond day-to-day drilling activities, helping turn geological concepts into well-designed exploration programs and meaningful results.

Operating on a 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth, you'll enjoy balancing field-based work with the technical interpretation and planning that underpins successful gold exploration.

The project behind this role controls a substantial landholding with multiple priority targets already identified and a strong pipeline of opportunities still to be tested. Exploration activity is expected to remain a key focus as drilling programs continue to expand.

Key Requirements:

• Strong gold exploration experience
• Experience designing and managing drill programs
• Geological modelling and interpretation skills
• Target generation experience
• Ability to mentor junior geologists
• Current Australian work rights.
